Sharq Village Doha: how to live in a fairy tale.
Sharq Village Doha, a romantic fairy tale. I felt like a princess.
Sharq Village Doha known correctly as Sharq Village & spa, Ritz Carlton Hotel is the perfect destination for lovers looking for intimacy and relax.
I wrote a really long post dedicated to Doha, everything there is to know about the capital of Qatar, a post of 5000 words. If you haven’t already read it do so it’s very very useful.
In the section “the best hotel in Doha” I already linked Sharq Village & spa, Ritz Carlton Hotel but I didn’t include photos, nor did I give a real review because I hadn’t stayed there for such a long time. Just long enough to drink a cup of tea and nothing more. About the tea room we took amazing photos don’t miss the next posts =)=)
I stayed at the Sharq Village for a whole week and it was like living a romantic fairy tale. The atmosphere is magic, dreamy. By day there is a fairy tale light and in the evening, from the beach of the Sharq you can admire the whole city lit up like in a fairy tale.
To see the photos of the Sharq Village I advise you visit their site click here. The Sharq is near the airport so it’s really convenient.
If you are looking for a hotel in Doha and want advice write to me I will be happy to help you. =)
Sharq Village Gazebo Romantic Afternoon Tea
Sharq Village reserved a beautiful room for me, near the beach, studded with gazebos that, upon request, are set up for tea from where it is possible to admire the sunset, and in the evening, the lights of the city. Imagine staying in a tent richly furnished with fine carpets, dimmed candle lights sipping a hot tea with an Arab sweet and be able to admire a view rich of all types of lights. All very romantic.
I dream one day soon to be able to admire the lights of Doha in the company of a boyfriend. <3
Doha is incredibly romantic <3 Enchanting.
Sharq Village of Doha my experience
On my arrival I was welcomed with a Bakhour Ceremony, a local custom that consists in offering dates and Arab specialities accompanied by a special tea and traditional incense as you can see in the photos, in the hotel lobby.
The check in
After the welcome I got the keys to my room, decorated in Arab style, with lots of attention to detail and with a bed similar to that of a princess. <3
The room was very quiet: in fact I slept very well and very early the next morning, at about 6, together with my photographer, we took some beautiful photos taking advantage of the incredible light. Don’t miss the next post because I will publish the photos of my room
Dinner and massage at the Spa
After having checked in at the Sharq Village in Doha we went around the Arab village full of pools with sparkling floors, white white beaches, luxury spa and restaurants from a thousand and one nights. In the evening we were invitated to dinner at Dana, a mediterranean restaurant with a really friendly Greek chef that as well as being agenius in the kitchen can make his dishes not only delicious but also healthy.
We ate really well: the dishes are particularly light because the chef matches vegetables and fish according to the vitamin content. It was one of the healthiest meals we had in Doha. I highly recommend you try this restaurant.., just thinking of the sweet, chocolate black forest with pureed fruit, makes my mouth water mmmmm.

I hope that the photos put across the feelings and magic atmosphere of the Sharq. <3 And they don’t reveal the fact that at the Sharq having eaten a bit too much I managed to put on two kilos in one week.
The breakfast is an international buffet. At lunch instead there are two alternatives – from the buffet or from the menu, but it is commonly known that Italians love buffets.
I am writing this post from Milan and in an hour I am going to the gym to try to work off all I gobbled in Doha. <3
Also in the long long post I wrote about how to dress in Doha.
The dress I am wearing is perfect for Doha and for Sharq Village. Here below are similar outfits.
At Sharq Village I obviously made use of the spa. Six Senses Spa. Very, very relaxing massages. As you know I recently had liposuction and after having taken the plane I was really bloated. The massage drained me a lot and the circulation in my legs went back to working very well.
Follow Sharq Village on Facebook they will publish some photos that we haven’t published here.
In February I will return to Doha for a few weeks, also in March and I will definitely go back to the Sharq Village
